For organizers

Instant Payouts

slash.fm pays organizers through Stripe Connect. When you onboard, Stripe creates a connected account in your name; every order is charged to the buyer, slash.fm takes its fee, and the rest lands in your Stripe balance as the payment clears. You are not waiting for slash.fm to run a payout batch after the event.

From there Stripe pays out to your bank on the schedule for your account, typically every two business days in the US once the account is established. Where Stripe offers instant payouts, you can trigger one from the slash.fm dashboard for a small Stripe fee.

Holds are rare and come from Stripe's risk review, not from slash.fm. A new account with a large first event may have part of its balance held until the event date. slash.fm shares event dates with Stripe to keep those holds short.

Refunds are deducted from your balance when you issue them. Chargebacks hold the disputed amount while the case is open; slash.fm submits the order details, scan record and device fingerprint as evidence automatically, and the funds return when a dispute is won.

You can see every order, fee, refund and payout in the slash.fm dashboard and in your own Stripe dashboard, which you keep full access to.

FAQ

When do I get paid for a presale?
As each order is paid. Presale money is in your Stripe balance weeks before the event, subject to Stripe's standard payout schedule.
What happens to payouts if I cancel an event?
All paid orders are refunded in full from your balance. If the balance is short, Stripe debits the connected bank account.
