Terms of Service
Last updated November 7, 2026
Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and SLASH FM LLC ("slash.fm", "we", "us") for using the slash.fm app and website, whether you buy tickets, RSVP, or sell tickets as an organizer. By creating an account or buying a ticket you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use slash.fm.
Who can use slash.fm
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for your account and for keeping the phone number on it current, since that is how you sign in. One person, one account.
slash.fm is a marketplace
Events on slash.fm are created and run by independent organizers: venues, promoters and collectives. The organizer, not slash.fm, is responsible for holding the event as described, setting its refund policy, admitting ticket holders and running the door. slash.fm provides the ticketing software, payment processing through Stripe, and support for the platform.
Buying tickets
- The total you pay, including the slash.fm fee, is shown before you pay. Card processing is included in that fee.
- Each event shows its age limit and other entry requirements before you buy, and our Refund Policy applies. By buying, you agree to them.
- A ticket is a license to attend one event, not property. The organizer or venue can refuse entry or remove you for not meeting the entry requirements or for misconduct.
- Your ticket is a QR code in your slash.fm account. In the app it is a live code that changes every 15 seconds. Each ticket can be scanned once.
- Tickets are tied to the account that holds them. You can send a ticket to someone else in slash.fm when the organizer allows transfers; the ticket is reissued to them and your code stops working. Screenshots or forwarded codes are not valid tickets, and a code scanned by someone else first will not get you in.
- You may resell a ticket only through slash.fm Resale, on events where the organizer allows it and within the organizer's price limits. slash.fm charges sellers a resale fee, a percentage of the price, and pays sellers after the event takes place. Reselling slash.fm tickets anywhere else, or buying tickets to resell them outside slash.fm Resale, is not allowed.
Refunds
If an organizer cancels an event, you are refunded in full, including fees, automatically. Otherwise refunds follow the organizer's policy shown at checkout. The full rules are in our Refund Policy.
Text messages (SMS)
By entering your phone number you agree to receive text messages from slash.fm (SLASH FM LLC): a one-time sign-in code each time you request one, and texts about your tickets and orders. Marketing texts are sent only if you separately opt in, and agreeing is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your number; we never share it or your consent with third parties for their marketing.
Organizers
- Organizers must describe events accurately, honor every valid ticket, follow the laws that apply to their events, and refund buyers in full when an event is cancelled.
- Payouts are made through Stripe Connect and are also subject to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. slash.fm takes its fee from each order.
- Organizers may only use buyers' and guests' contact details to run their events and must honor opt-outs.
- We approve organizers before their events go live and may remove listings, pause payouts or close accounts that break these terms or put buyers at risk.
Things you may not do
- Use slash.fm for anything illegal, or list events that are illegal, misleading or unsafe.
- Use bots or scripts to buy tickets, scrape the service, or get around purchase limits.
- Copy, forge or tamper with tickets or QR codes.
- Harass other people, impersonate anyone, or post content you do not have the rights to.
You can report an event or organizer from the app. We review reports and may remove content or accounts.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload, such as a profile photo or an event flyer. You give slash.fm permission to display it on the app and website in order to run and promote the service.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile, then Settings, then Delete account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Tickets you already bought for upcoming events stay subject to the organizer's policy.
Disclaimers and limits
slash.fm is provided as is. We work to keep it running but cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We are not responsible for the events themselves or for the conduct of organizers, venues or other guests.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid through slash.fm in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Using slash.fm after that means you accept the new terms.
Contact
Questions about these terms: use the contact forms in the slash.fm Help Center . slash.fm does not provide customer support by email; emails about orders, tickets, refunds, resale, transfers or accounts will not receive a response. Copyright notices go to our designated agent at [email protected].
