Door Scanning App
The slash.fm door scanning app turns any iPhone or Android into a ticket scanner. Door staff sign in with a door-only role, point the camera at the QR code, and get a green or red result in under a second with the guest's tier and name.
Every ticket is signed, so a forged or edited code fails. Each code scans once; a second scan shows as a duplicate with the time and device of the first scan, which ends the "my friend went in with my screenshot" conversation at the door.
Guest list and table reservations are in the same scanner, so one line can handle the whole door. Guest list names can also be checked in by name, plus-ones included. The live headcount by tier is visible to managers in the dashboard while the night runs.
Every scan is checked against slash.fm in real time, so several phones can work one door without letting anyone in twice. Each scanning phone needs a data or Wi-Fi connection.
