Going to an event

Request a refund

On the slash.fm website, open My Tickets, then Orders, and choose Request a refund. The organizer approves or declines, and you're notified either way.

Set by the event organizerEach organizer runs their own event. Check the event page or your ticket first, and contact the organizer with questions. slash.fm can't change an organizer's decision.

How to ask

  1. Sign in at My Tickets on the slash.fm website.
  2. Go to Orders and find the order.
  3. Choose Request a refund, pick a reason and add a note for the organizer if you like.
  4. Choose Send request.

The order then shows refund requested. You can cancel the request from the same place while it's open. Refund requests aren't in the slash.fm app yet, so use the slash.fm website on your phone or computer.

Want a refund?

Ask the organizer from your orders. They approve or decline, and you're notified either way.

Request a refund

You'll sign in with your phone number, then go straight there.

When you can ask

  • For paid orders only. Free RSVPs have nothing to refund.
  • Before the event starts.
  • One open request per order.
  • Not while a ticket on the order is listed on slash.fm Resale. Remove the listing first.

If the event was cancelled, don't ask: your refund is automatic.

What happens next

  1. The organizer gets your request by email and in their slash.fm app.
  2. They approve or decline it. Organizers are expected to respond within 7 days.
  3. You get a notification in slash.fm. If they decline, their reason shows under the order.
  4. If they approve, the refund goes back to the card you paid with. Banks usually post it within 5 to 10 business days.

While your request is open

Your tickets stay valid until the organizer refunds you. Once refunded, they stop working.
