Going to an event
Events and organizers
Contact an organizer. Start times, age limits, accessibility, guest lists, tables and event changes.
- Contact the event organizerOrganizers run their events and answer questions about them. Message them from the event page in the app, or from My Tickets on the slash.fm website.
- How slash.fm works: who does whatslash.fm sells tickets for independent organizers. The organizer runs the event and sets its rules; slash.fm runs your account, tickets and payments.
- Start times, late entry and venue rulesThe event page shows the start time, age limit and any dress code. Last entry, re-entry and bag rules are the organizer's and the venue's.
- The event's date, time or venue changedWe notify ticket holders in the app and by email when an organizer changes the date, time or venue. Your ticket stays valid.
- Age limits and IDThe event page shows whether an event is all ages, 18+ or 21+. The door team checks ID.
- Guest listsOrganizers add names to their guest list. At the door, the team finds your name and checks you in, with any plus-ones.
- Tables and bottle serviceSome organizers sell tables as a ticket type. Minimum spends, deposits and what's included are set by the organizer and venue.
- Lineup and set timesThe organizer manages the lineup and publishes any set times. If an artist changes, whether you can get a refund is up to the organizer.
- Accessible entryAccessibility is arranged with the organizer and the venue. Message the organizer as early as you can with what you need.
- Private events, passwords and hidden addressesSome events need a password to see, some ticket types need a password to buy, and some addresses are hidden until you have a ticket.
- Will callWill call means picking up tickets at a box office. slash.fm doesn't use will call: your ticket is in your slash.fm account.
