Going to an event
Report harassment or an incident at an event
Get help from venue staff on the night. Afterwards, report it to slash.fm from Contact us. Reports are confidential.
If you're at the event now
- In an emergency, call 911.
- Tell venue staff or security. They can act straight away.
- Find the medical or welfare team if the event has one.
- Stay with friends, or ask staff to stay with you.
slash.fm doesn't have staff at events, so go to the venue first if you need help now.
Report it to slash.fm
You can report anything that broke our code of conduct, whether it involved another guest, staff, an artist or the organizer, even weeks later.
- Go to Contact us, choose Something else, then Report harassment or something that happened at an event.
- Sign in with your phone number.
- Tell us what happened, when and where, and anything that helps identify the person. Share only what you're comfortable sharing.
What happens next
- We read every report. Your report is confidential: we don't tell the person who reported them.
- We may restrict or ban accounts, or take down an organizer's events while we look into it.
- We reply in My requests and tell you what we've done where privacy rules allow.
slash.fm isn't the police and can't investigate crimes. To report a crime, contact your local police. We'll cooperate with any police investigation.
Support
If you've experienced sexual violence, you can talk to someone confidentially, any time: the RAINN National Sexual Assault Hotline, 800-656-4673.
