Going to an event

Start times, late entry and venue rules

The event page shows the start time, age limit and any dress code. Last entry, re-entry and bag rules are the organizer's and the venue's.

Set by the event organizerEach organizer runs their own event. Check the event page or your ticket first, and contact the organizer with questions. slash.fm can't change an organizer's decision.

Each event page and ticket shows what the organizer entered:

Questions about an event?

Message the organizer from My Tickets. They answer questions about their event and reply by email.

Contact the organizer

You'll sign in with your phone number, then go straight there.

Start time
When the event begins, in the venue's time zone. Lines often form before it.
End time
When it's scheduled to finish, unless the organizer hid it.
Age limit
All ages, 18+ or 21+.
Dress code
If the organizer set one.
Address
Some organizers hide the address until you buy. It's on your ticket once you have one.

Last entry and re-entry

slash.fm doesn't have set fields for last entry or re-entry, so these are up to the organizer and venue. Some organizers mention them in the event description. If it matters to you, ask the organizer before you go, and assume re-entry isn't allowed unless they say so.

Arriving late

Your ticket stays valid until it's scanned or the night ends. Whether you get in late is up to the door team. Being turned away for arriving late usually isn't refundable. See How refunds work.

Reasons the door team can refuse entry

  • No valid ID, or not meeting the age limit
  • Not meeting the dress code
  • Being visibly intoxicated
  • Bringing items the venue doesn't allow
  • The venue being at capacity

Door decisions are made by the organizer's team and the venue. slash.fm doesn't have staff at events and can't overrule them.
