Cancel or change an event

Change the date, time or venue in Edit event and ticket holders are notified. Cancelling refunds every paid order automatically.

Change the date, time or venue

Open the event, choose Edit event, change the details and save. Everyone holding a ticket gets a notification in the app and an email with the new details. Their tickets stay valid. If people can't make the new date, they can send you refund requests.

You'll sign in with your phone number, then go straight there.

Cancel

Only an owner can cancel. Open the event, choose Cancel this event and confirm.

  • Every paid order is refunded in full, slash.fm fee included, back to the buyer's card.
  • slash.fm Resale buyers are refunded too, and resale listings end.
  • Everyone holding a ticket gets a notification and an email.
  • If any refund fails, the screen tells you which.

You must cancel in slash.fm

If your event isn't going ahead, cancel it in slash.fm. Leaving it live, or telling buyers it's off without cancelling here, breaks our organizer standards.
